Now that we have a club name, logo, and all that goodness, it’s time to mature our web presence as well. To that end, we’re expanding the tech team by two: One head to handle graphic design for the main web site, and one head to assemble content and keep it fresh. The two positions do require very different skillsets, so please be sure to look at each individual job description, and apply for what you’d be best for. And be sure to read the instructions to submit your application, as messing that up will affect your chances.

You may also be asked to assist with other web properties, such as the web portal. The ideal applicant will have the following skills:

This position has a combination of administrative and creative duties, where you will gather information from a variety of officers, phrase and format for the web site, and ensure that the web site is regularly refreshed with new content. Your focus is on making sure that information from a variety of places is added to the site, as well as pestering officers as necessary when content needs to be produced by their offices. The ideal applicant will have the following skills:
- Strong writing skills to make information easy accessible to the reader
- Very high availability to allow for posting content to the site within 48 hours under normal conditions
- Good communication skills, including the ability to pester someone without being annoying
- Highly organized, managing multiple open tasks at any given time without losing track of any of them
Applications should be sent to cam.global.tech@gmail.com and include a summary of your skillset, any relevant experience within or outside of the club, and anything else you think would be useful for us to know. The skill with which you organize the information in your resume will be considered as a qualifying skill. And please put “Content Manager” in the subject line.
