With end of Chronicle rapidly approaching its time to kick it into high gear and get started with two major tasks.
1) End this Chronicle
2) Plan for next Chronicle.
Yes. We are planning for a Forsaken Chronicle which I fully intend to support and have gotten the NSTs okay to move forward on planning. Whether or not global gives us anything for it is going to be beside the point, we WILL have Forsaken in the US. If the the US NST does decide to not support it, we are STILL going to play Forsaken. We’re unstoppable and ready to move forward.
So here is the All-Call for ringing this Chronicle out:
*AANST Plots and Non-player Characters*
This is a big one, as you will be working with the outline I have as well as the outline that Global has been working on to take this Chronicle out in style. You will be keeping track of where all the NPCs are, which STs have them signed out and act as a point of contact on these characters (and there WILL be a good number of them). It will require you to be fairly active and reply quickly to email when necessary. A monthly report is required for this position.
*AANST Administration and Rules*
This is a catch-all position and is mainly meant to help keep track of reports that are coming in, assist with the compilation of my monthly reports, as well as formatting and proof-reading of plot kits and history as needed for both this chronicle and the upcoming chronicle. They will also be responsible for helping put together a US addendum and answering rules questions as they come up.
*Project Lead: Forsaken Chronicle Building*
This will be the Project Lead for designing and building the next chronicle, what does the US look like? What’s the spiritual landscape like? This will likely be a very challenging position, but if you like building a setting from the ground up, this will be for you. This is the call for the lead, once they are in place, we will be forming a small team to handle the work load. Also they will need to work with the US Transition Team to ensure some degree of consistency across venues, assuming we share a world with the other nWoD venues (mainly with spirits and such in Mage). This position will require a monthly report.
There are some challenges in our future and what is going to become of our venue. Forsaken after reset is really going to be a grassroots effort and we may be looking at losing players to other venues. Our job is not to try and compete with them, but rather enhance the game play and offer something they cannot. I have an idea for a starting point for the next chronicle, which will be even better if this chronicle ends the way I want it to. Get excited about Forsaken, because the best may very well be ahead of us.
